Mariah Carey's twins, Moroccan and Monroe, look all grown up on family trip to China

Mariah Carey's kids are growing up quickly!

The Grammy-winning singer, 55, took to Instagram on Saturday, September 14, to show off her 13-year-old son and daughter, Moroccan and Monroe, as they posed for a family photo along the Great Wall of China in Beijing.

While the youngsters opted for casual wear for touring — Moroccan in a t-shirt and denim shorts and Monroe in a comfy-looking sweater — Carey went full-on glam in a black figure-hugging dress, butterfly earrings, dark shades, and even a pair of heels.

"At the Great Wall of China!” "Someone should have warned me about heels," Carey posted on X Saturday. "Not that I would've listened."

Despite her inappropriate footwear, Carey and her children seemed to appreciate the breathtaking view. "It really is great," the "Fantasy" hitmaker exclaimed.

Carey has twins with her ex, Nick Cannon, whom she married from 2008 to 2016. The couple had their children in April 2011, six months after Carey announced her pregnancy, and have maintained a cordial coparenting relationship over the years, with the Drumline star gushing about his ex-wife in a March 2023 interview with The Shade Room.

"I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her," he told the publication. "She's constantly smiling and helping others. No matter what happens in life. I'm like, 'Wow, a person can truly work like that and not allow negative energy into their area.' When I learned of her exceptional qualities, I realized she was not human. "She is a gift from God."

Cannon, 43, celebrated his eldest daughters, nicknamed Roc and Roe, turning 13 with a sweet Instagram picture on Tuesday, April 30.

The pleased father shared a photo of the newly teenage twins wearing homemade t-shirts with photos of their faces on them.

"Can't believe 13 years ago I was blessed with the greatest gift of becoming a father!!" he posted on Facebook. "God has truly had his hand on the lives of two of the most loving, kind , intelligent and well balanced humans I have ever witnessed!"

Carey offered her own message of love for Roc and Roe at the moment, releasing a video of herself standing on an elevated platform with Roe while a 360-degree camera circled the couple. The freshly minted 13-year-old was dressed in a Zendaya t-shirt, while Carey donned a bedazzled sheer top. "Kicking off the birthday celebrations of the year," she put in an email.
