Shakira has postponed her North American dates for her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour until 2025, citing high demand and the necessity for larger venues.

Shakira's tour was originally scheduled to begin next month with visits in arenas across the United States and Canada, but she has revealed that she would now play stadiums, with dates beginning in May 2025, following the Latin American events. She said that the new dates would be disclosed on Monday.

"Your incredible support since my tour announcement has truly been extraordinary, and it's already making this the biggest tour of my career," Shakira said on social media Friday. "As Live Nation communicated earlier, the demand for tickets and more shows has reached the point that our tour now requires stadiums in the USA and more dates so I can see as many of you as possible."

Shakira described the concert's staging as "larger and unlike anything I've done before."

"I know many of you made big efforts to be a part of these shows," Shakira told the crowd. "Thank you so much for your support during this process. Your understanding and kindness mean everything to me and motivate me to keep breaking obstacles. I'll be waiting for each of you with tremendous eagerness. I pledge to make the wait worthwhile by doing the finest show of my life!"

Shakira's stadium appearances will be her first in the United States since her El Dorado global tour in 2018. The next tour follows another hectic year for the legend. She released the new song "Soltera" last month, along with a music video starring Anitta, Winnie Harlow, Lele Pons, and Danna.

She also got down with Rolling Stone for a frank cover story in June, speaking up about regaining her "swag" and "sexy" after breaking up with soccer player Girard Piqué.
