Korean actor Song Jae-rim dies aged 39, police confirm
Song Jae-rim, a South Korean actor and model, was discovered dead at his home in Seoul, authorities said on Tuesday, November 12. He was 39 years old. His cause of death remains unknown.

Jae-rim's funeral is set to take place in Yeouido St. Mary's Funeral Hall, according to The Korea Herald. According to the publication, a police spokeswoman has stated that there is presently "no evidence of foul play." According to numerous sources, a letter was found at his residence.
The late We Got Married alum had not posted on social media since at least March of this year.
Jae-rim's most recent roles were in the South Korean TV series My Military Valentine as Sung Jae-hoon and the musical La Rose de Versailles. According to The Korea Herald, the actor's most recent performance in the latter was on October 13.
The Seoul native had his breakthrough onscreen appearance in the 2012 series The Moon Embracing the Sun. He went on to play a variety of parts in subsequent films, including Cool Guys, Hot Ramen, Inspiring Generation, Two Weeks, and Queen Woo.
Jae-rim was nominated for several awards after consistently advancing in his acting career. He earned the Best Male Newcomer title at the 2014 MBC Awards, as well as the Special Acting title for Actor in a Serial Drama at the 2016 SBS Drama Wards.
Jae-rim had modeled for various magazines and collections in South Korea, including Vogue Girl Korea, Nylon Korea, GQ Korea, Esquire Korea, and Marie Claire Korea.
When word of the K-drama star's death surfaced, many fan condolences flooded social media.
"Today, we say 'goodbye' to a star whose light will never truly fade," tweeted an X user on November 12. "Song Jae Rim, you left an imprint on our hearts with your skill, kindness, and humor. May you rest in peace and continue to inspire. "You are deeply missed, but never forgotten."
