Madonna endorses Kamala Harris for president

Madonna is voting blue.

The Queen of Pop took to Instagram on Thursday, October 31, to post a collection of images from her recent vacation to Paris. "Paris was so fun! 🇫🇷." "It was difficult to leave, but I had to return home to V.O.T.E. 🇺🇸🇺🇸," she wrote in the caption. "@kamalaharris For. President!!!! ♥️"

The "Express Yourself" singer earlier expressed her support for Harris in 2020, when she was running for vice president alongside Joe Biden. "Kamilla [sic] is an intelligent, compassionate, well spoken leader who stands for justice and equal rights for all people," she wrong at the time.

Madonna is the latest singer to back Harris as the presidential election approaches. Earlier this week, Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin were among the musicians that expressed their support for the vice president after a speaker at a Donald Trump rally made a racist remark about Puerto Rico. In recent months, Harris has received endorsements from Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Billie Eilish, Stevie Nicks, Cardi B, Jason Isbell, John Legend, Katy Perry, and many more.

Harris will continue to rally in the run-up to the November 5 election. Cardi B and GloRilla will support the Democratic ticket at the When We Vote We Win event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, November 1. This is the latest in a series of rally performances. Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, Remi Wolf, and Aaron Dessner and Matt Berninger of The National all performed in Madison, Wisconsin earlier this week. On October 25, Beyoncé and Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland attended the Houston event, where the "Break My Soul" singer gave a memorable statement in favor of Harris.
