Sabrina Carpenter registered more voters than any other artist ahead of the 2024 election

During her Short n' Sweet tour, Sabrina Carpenter registered the most voters of any artist in preparation for the 2024 presidential election.

The singer registered 35,814 voters through her relationship with HeadCount, and an additional 263,087 voters were engaged outside of registration, via registration status and polling location, prizes, in-person activations, and video boards throughout her tour, as well as mailings.

"Through our partnerships with over 100 top music artists, such as Sabrina Carpenter, Green Day, Ariana Grande, and so many others, HeadCount had a record-breaking year, registering over 450,000 new voters and engaging over 3 million more people to vote," Lucille Wenegieme, executive director of HeadCount, said in a statement.

She continued, "Our model works because musicians and celebrities have a cultural cache and an intimate connection with their fans, particularly young people, whose identity as a fan of a specific artist can be stronger than other aspects of their identity, such as affiliation with a political party or candidate. We are grateful to our artist partners and their teams for empowering their followers to vote and take control of their own destiny."

Carpenter's collaboration with HeadCount also offered a contest that allowed supporters to visit her tour by confirming their voter registration status. Winners will be flown to San Francisco for the artist's November 9 performance.

According to the foundation, which works with musicians to encourage democratic engagement in the United States, Green Day's Saviors Tour shattered the organization's all-time record for the number of voters engaged in a single tour, with 7,900 new voters. Throughout the tour, the rock band held in-person activations that reached over 61,000 voters.
